Yes We Can

There are reasons why I like Barak Obama, the man and the politician, and there are reasons why I don't. Today, both are irrelevant. For today, a man who just a few years ago would have had zero chance of any real political success (based upon the color of his skin and his lacking connections to the powerful political families that have dominated the politics of this country, etc.) has become our President. That alone is reason to hope and celebrate today...
